The Scottish Orienteering League (SOL) - Seven league events are held each year, with a competitor's best four results to count. The winner of each race earns 1000 points, with everyone else earning points based on their time as a percentage of the winner's time.

The fixtures for 2008 are:

• SOL 1: SOLWAY Drumlanrig Woods, Thornhill, Dumfries. 2nd March 2008
• SOL 2: FVO. Touch, Stirling, 11th May 2008
• SOL 3: KFO. Devilla by Kincardine Fife, 15th June 2008

• SOL 5: INVOC. Anagach, Grantown-on-Spey, 28th September 2008
• SOL 6: INT. Inshriach South, Kingussie, 12th October 2008
• SOL 7: ESOC.Craig a' Barns, Dunkeld. 26th October 2008
