Child Protection and Vulnerable Groups

Child Protection and Vulnerable Groups

Kingdom of Fife Orienteers is fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children in its care, and adhere to the SOA Child Protection Scheme, and to British Orienteering's O-Safe.

For example, members of KFO who regularly coach children must be members of The Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, which replaced the previous system of disclosures for people working with children and vulnerable groups (at risk-adults). More details are given on the SOA website.
